For over 80 years Cafe de Paris has stood as a symbol of the glamour, sparkle and decadence of Londons West End. Over the years it has welcomed royalty, fashion world icons, dignitaries and social climbers of all descriptions through its doors, and it continues to be one of the hottest spots in the capital. The venue has changed greatly since it first opened. It has been refurbished several times, and its now a slick, modern venue that is open for everyone. High ceilings, ornate furnishings and plaster work give an air of real exuberance. The restaurant is a very popular choice for parties and special occasions, and despite the luxurious surrounds prices are comparable with top end dining in the area. Try the lobster pot au feu or the welsh lamb. For entertainment during the meal you can expect jazz and swing numbers from top bands. When the restaurant closes the tables are pushed to the side to make way for the nightclub. Flagship Friday and Saturday nights feature cutting edge R&B and funky house. Kelis and Cristian Slater are amongst the famous regulars here. The stage also welcomes some top music talent on a regular basis. Past performers have included Amy Winehouse, Jamie Cullum and Dita von Teese.
